Rex Stancliff
Account Executive
AKA “Supportive Stancliff“
As an Account Executive at Spark451, Rex serves as the primary point of contact for our partner institutions, guiding projects from kickoff through completion. He earned his B.A. in Economics from Clemson University (go Tigers!), and brings several years of experience in account and project management to the role.
Prior to joining Spark451, Rex worked at another higher education marketing agency where he gained experience in relationship management with university leadership for the development of higher education brand strategy and marketing materials. Rex’s background makes him a valuable asset to our clients and internal teams alike.
What do you love most about working in higher education and why?
I love working in higher education because I believe that colleges and universities have the power to equip future generations with the ability to change the world for good.
How has your own college education directly translated to success at Spark451 and why?
My college education has shown me the wealth of opportunity available to students within higher education—whether it be through research, study abroad, or just the chance to learn under great teachers. This has made me a staunch advocate for supporting others to find and embrace these opportunities for themselves!
What is one superpower you’d want to possess and why?
If I could have any superpower, I’d want to time travel so I could visit all the ancient wonders of the world!
Beach vacation or city vacation and why?
City vacation all the way! When I travel, I like to experience new places through their people, food, and history. I find that cities are the best for these experiences. But bonus points if it’s a city near the beach.
