Natalie Trebilcock
Account Executive
AKA “Trusty Trebilcock“
As an Account Executive, Natalie serves as a liaison between partner schools and the internal teams at Spark451. She is committed to providing high-quality service in a timely and professional manner, helping ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently. Natalie’s dedication to efficiency is borne of her belief that effectively run projects allow partners to focus on what matters most — students and families.
Natalie joins the team with extensive experience in higher education. In addition to working in the admissions office during her time as an undergraduate at the University of Scranton, she held a variety of positions at Elon University (go Phoenix!) while she pursued her Master’s in Higher Education. Most recently, she served as an Academic Advisor/Instructor for a first-year student program at North Carolina State University.
What do you love most about working in higher education and why?
My favorite part about working in higher education is the profound impact you can make on a student’s life. The time one spends in college can be such a transformative experience, and to have a hand in supporting a student’s decision on selecting a school, a major, or a career is incredibly rewarding.
How did you choose your profession/why?
For me, it has always been the people. Higher education professionals are collaborative, passionate, and lifelong learners. I love surrounding myself with people who are constantly looking to improve and learn for a greater cause.
When you aren’t busy being a Sparkler, what is something that you like to do and why?
I love to travel and explore new places! Whether I’m visiting a new area of North Carolina or traveling abroad, I find so much excitement in an adventure and creating memories with family and friends.
What is your favorite quote and why?
“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. -Wayne Gretzky” -Michael Scott (I’m a big fan of The Office.)
I love this quote because it emphasizes that some of life’s best opportunities and experiences come from taking a chance/stepping outside of our comfort zone.
