How did you choose your profession?

Funnily enough, I originally started out at UVM aiming to get my B.S. in Environmental Engineering, but had to transition to North Shore Community College for financial reasons. It was there that I leaned into my love for studio art, and quickly discovered my passion for graphic design, typography, and design theory. I’d stay up all night working on projects and assignments, making sure everything was perfect, and I never once felt upset about it — that’s how I knew graphic design was something I’d always love doing as a career!

What’s one thing everyone needs to know about Spark451 and why?

I feel so welcomed onto the team. Everyone is so kind, creative, uplifting, and empathetic. I’m genuinely excited to be a part of the Spark451 team!

What is your life theme song and why?

The 59th Street Bridge Song by Simon & Garfunkel — I even have a tattoo of it! It’s all about slowing down, embracing the little things in life, enjoying the moment, and just feelin’ groovy.

Where is the place you want to visit most in the world and why?

Alaska! I’ve always been so intrigued by their monthlong period of darkness, since I’m such a night owl. And, of course, I’d love to see the aurora borealis!
