As a resident project manager, Michelle works to ensure that all client projects are completed efficiently and according to schedule. She holds a B.S. in marketing from Adelphi University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling.
What do you love most about working in higher education?
Working in higher education [marketing] is very rewarding because it has such a powerful impact on a life-changing decision. I remember when I was going through the process of choosing a college — both as a high school senior and then again as a transfer student — how much of an impact different marketing efforts truly made.
How did you choose your profession?
I chose to go into marketing because I felt like it was such a broad field where I could always learn more. In studying marketing, I’ve gained experience in
different areas like event marketing, social media marketing, marketing analytics, and much more. There are so many different directions you can go in, so the possibilities and ability for growth are endless!
What is your favorite quote?
“If you don’t give it all you got, you’re only cheating yourself.”
This quote comes from one of my favorite songs, and it speaks a lot to the way I think. It’s important to always give everything your best efforts so there’s no doubt or regrets when looking back!
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
In my free time, I love to travel, whether it be a car or plane ride away! There’s so much to see and do. Each place is so unique and provides such a different experience. Traveling has given me the opportunity to learn about different places and meet so many new people around the world!
