One of Chrissandra’s most important responsibilities at Spark451 is ensuring that all of our partner schools’ needs are met. She achieves this by working closely with strategists and many other team members. With Chrissandra’s oversight, projects are completed impeccably and efficiently. This Long Island University Shark has experience as a customer account manager, which taught her about the importance of building strong relationships and always going the extra mile.
What do you enjoy most about your position at Spark451 and why?
The variety of tasks and projects that the role entails allows me to learn and grow in my career while also keeping the work interesting. Having the opportunity to collaborate with our partners, understand their goals, and deliver a flawless product that enables them to achieve their objectives is incredibly fulfilling.
What do you love most about working in higher education and why?
I love that working in higher education marketing allows us to make an impact on students who are trying to find the perfect fit for their academic and career goals. It also involves a lot of creativity and innovation, which makes my job dynamic and exciting.
What is your favorite quote? Why?
One of my favorite quotes is, “The only way to do great work is to love what you do,” by Steve Jobs. It emphasizes the importance of passion and enthusiasm in one’s career.
When you aren’t busy being a Sparkler, what is something that you like to do and why?
In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. Whether this means going for a walk or a beach vacation, it always serves as an important reminder of the bigger picture — how vast the world is and the endless opportunities that are out there waiting to be explored.
