Julia helps support the performance and accuracy of our institutional partners’ campaigns by automating data preparation through Alteryx and making statistical reports. She holds a BS in health science from Stony Brook University.
How did you choose your profession and why?
I developed an interest in data when I realized how powerful it could be. Every piece of information meant something, and it felt as if I was connecting puzzle pieces together to tell a story. My curiosity got the better of me, and soon, I found myself pursuing data analytics.
What’s one thing everyone needs to know about Spark451 and why?
Spark451 is full of people who are passionate and hardworking. They want the best for each other and are constantly ambitious.
What is something most people don't know about you?
In middle school, I learned American Sign Language (ASL). So, to this day, I can still sign the alphabet and introduce myself. But that’s about it!
When you aren’t busy being a Sparkler, what is something that you like to do and why?
I love playing online video games and taking long walks around the park. It’s really exciting to be able to play different kinds of games with various strategies. After I get tired from the screen time, I prefer taking a relaxing walk to clear my head.
